NDDC Scholarship Beneficiaries Protest Over Non-Payment Of Their Tuition Fees in UK

The controversy trailing the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is yet to see its end as scholars under the commission scholarship scheme staged a protest in UK.

The 2018/2019 Scholarship beneficiaries of NDDC gathered at the Nigerian High Commission London, on Monday, 20/07/2020 to cry out to President Muhammadu Buhari over the non-payment of their tuition fees by NDDC.

The SOS call was contained in a letter jointly sent by the scholars to the President. They asked President Buhari to speedily effect the payment of all pending fees because they stand the risk of being removed from their institutions and subsequently get deported, as their institutions had already threatened to stop their scholarship programmes.
