The attention of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has again been drawn to the prevalence of fake social media handles, particularly on Facebook, which fraudulently claims to be the accounts of the Commandant, Major General Jamil Sarham.
We wish to state clearly that these handles are fake and have no link to the Commandant. The NDA has no part in the establishment or operations of these fraudulent social media accounts. Invariably, we wish to warn the general public to be wary of these accounts.
For the purpose of clarity, the Commandant, Major General Jamil Sarham, does not have any social media handle for conducting official matters. The general public is once again notified and forewarned about these fraudulent social media accounts.
