NBTE Scores Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic high in programmes rating

At the official closing of the accreditation exercise of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic Eruwa,Oyo State today,the National Board for Technical Education officials and resource persons for various programs slated for accreditation unanimously scored the institution high.

The post accreditation review commenced at 11:30am,as the NBTE officials ,the team leaders of each resource group converged at the institution New Lecture Theatre NLT. At the review session were,the Chairman Governing Council of the institution, Prof Samuel Ogundiran, the Acting Rector, Mr Peter Adejumo, the Acting Registrar, Mr S. A Obagunle, Acting Bursar, Mr A. R Bello and Deans and Heads of Departments.

The NBTE Team Leader for the accreditation exercise, Mallam G. M Nalado welcomed every participant of the exercise to the review session. He stated the review would be capped with the closing remarks.

In his general review of the two day exercise, Mallam Nalado thanked the Council to the institution,the Management and the Oyo State Government for all the provisions and supports provided that made the accreditation possible. And invited the NBTE Director of Polytechnic Programmes.

Alhaji Musa Isgogo to preside on the review session. Alhaji Isgogo therefore began to invite the Leader of each resource group for the group review in form of presentation of observation on grey areas and defficiences.

After the overall review presentation,each of the institution twenty five Programmes presented for accreditation were scored high and rated to have met the minimum standard.

In his review of the institution generally,the NBTE Head of Institution Administration, Mr F. C Ogbonna commended the institution for the efforts to have enough learning facilities, especially in the area of office accommodation.

He charged the institution to make timely judicious use of it's landed property at the permanent campus in New Eruwa,that Environmental Studies Programmes could be moved to the site as the institution Campus 2 and Oke Ola as Campus 1. Also he enjoined the institution management to move some management courses to Campus 2 at New Eruwa.

The Chairman, Prof Samuel Ogundiran appreciated the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde for all his efforts at repositioning education in Oyo State and bring back the lost glory of education of the Pacesetter state.

He thanked the Governor if all supports. Also, he appreciated the Oyo State House of Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon Adebo Ogundoyin for his tireless efforts to develop the institution.

Above all,he thanked the NBTE officials and the resource persons that came from far and near for the exercise. Mr P. O Adejumo, the Acting Rector of the institution equally appreciated the Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde,the Speaker, Rt. Hon Adebo Ogundoyin for their various contributions for the general well being of the school.

And he thanked the NBTE officials,the resource personnel for their laudable roles in assessing and rating the institution programmes.

He also thanked the Deans, Directors, HODs, Staff and Students for all efforts put at achieving a huge success of the accreditation exercise.
