The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), in a statement signed by the Director Admin and Strategy, Prince Mohammed Sani, has appealed to the management of Bauchi State University, Gadau, to forgive the students that were recently expelled from the school for going against the institution's rules and regulations.
NANS in the statement stated that though the students were expelled after being found guilty of acting contrary to the institution’s ethics and values, they have been found to be remorseful since their expulsion and have since turned a new leaf.
The association said it was willing to continue to dialogue on behalf of its members as confrontation cannot solve the problems being faced. They called on the university vice-chancellor, Professor Auwalu Uba, to temper justice with mercy, and give the students a second chance to correct their misdeeds.
