With heart full of mourning, we wish to sympathize with all Staff, Alumni, and Students of the Federal University of Technology Owerri, FUTO on the sad loss of their immediate past Vice Chancellor, Prof Celestine Onwuliri (ALOHA) who was involved in the ill-fated Dana Air Plane of June 3, 2012.
We pray God to give the students, workers, his wife Prof Viola Onwuliri (Commissioner for Education, Imo State) and his children the fortitude to bear this great loss.
It should be noted that this air crash also killed about 5 officials of the Nigerian University Commission (NUC), the Gm of NNPC, and others including students.
May the souls of all the victims of the air mishap rest in the bosom of the Lord, Amen.
