We're please to inform you of the re-launch of the SchoolGist Blogging Platform, specially designed for students to gist us about activities happening in and around their school.
If you will be posting regular GIST on topics from Student Fashion & Style, Entertainment & Events in School, Religion & Fellowship, School Politics, Student Celebrities, Business, Sports, Technology, Academics etc, then it is best to Start Your Own Blog. This gives you little or no restrictions from admin.
It is important to note that unlike our New Section (Notice Board), which publishes only important, verified and critical information, the gist section/student blogging section is less strict. This means that SchoolGist Admins will approve most blog posts by students, as long as it is not fraudulent, admission runs, result upgrade or get rich quick schemes of links that offer money on clicking them.
You can add up to 3 photos in your BlogPost but the blogging platform is also equipped with a powerful gallery, where students can post up to 10 photos of a particular event. You can also add up to 20 more photos to update your gallery after the first batch of 10 is posted.
Gist us about your day or become an Eye Witness, Report your School, Riots, Queues, SUG, Stress, Roads, Groove, Parties, Events, Student Celebrities, Lectures, Tests, Exams, Hook-ups, break-ups, Outings... Anything.
Once you publish as a writer, your contact details will be displayed below the post so that you can be contacted as regards the publication made. In the near future, we will enable student bloggers to place their own banner adverts for free on their blog content.
Please note however that only Gist with genuine photos will appear on our frontpage.
