In commemoration of the 2019 International Day of the Girl Child celebration, MTN invites all primary and secondary school students in Nigeria to participate in a short essay competition.
In line with the theme of this year’s celebration- GirlForce: Unscripted and Unstoppable, the essay competition aims to encourage discussions on the empowerment of the Nigerian girl child. The essay topic for this year is: In what ways can the Nigerian girl be empowered to become unstoppable?
MTN mPulse Essay Competition Eligibility.
- Competition is open to both boys and girls in primary and secondary schools in Nigeria
- Applicants must be resident in Nigeria
- Essay must not exceed 200 words
- 10 winning essays will be selected and exciting gift items will be awarded to the winners. Gift items include smartphones, mPulse school bags, headphones, t-shirts, math sets, water bottles, etc.

How to Enter MTN mPulse Essay Competition.
To enter into the essay competition,
- Login or Register as a student on the mPulse website www.mtnonline.com/mpulse
- Select mPulse IDGCC Essay form from the dropdown menu
- Fill your essay in the form that displays
- Submit your essay form.
Deadline: 8th October, 2019.
Winners will be announced on 11th October, 2019.
