MOUAU first-class student dies in a motorcycle accident days after her final exams

A first-class final-year student of the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, Blessing Kalu, has lost her life in a motorcycle accident that happened in Umudike Oboro in the Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State.

According to a source, the victim had boarded a motorcycle to a gas station to fill up her cooking gas cylinder and was on her way home when the accident happened. The motorcycle driver was said to have tried overtaking a truck when they were knocked down.

The accident left her struggling for her breath, and was thereafter rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. 

Before the unfortunate accident, Kalu was a confirmed prospective first-class graduate in Entrepreneurial Studies and had just finished her final examination last Friday. She went to church on Sunday, August 22 for thanksgiving and sadly, lost her life on Monday, August 23. Her body has since been deposited in the morgue.
