Some unscrupulous individuals have created several fake Facebook accounts using the name and pictures of the Vice-Chancellor of the University. The public is hereby placed on notice that Professor Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe, will
1. NEVER conduct official business or discharge the duties of my office through social media.
2. NEVER contact you via this medium or send you an inbox/DM.
3. NEVER solicit for funds through Social Media or request that you pay in money into any account.
4. NEVER offer you a job, contract or any kind of opportunity through Social Media.
5. Anybody conversing or negotiating anything through any person or persons purporting to be me via Social Media, does so at his/her own risk.
Be wise and do not become a victim of fraud.
