MOUAU Academic Calendar 2024/2025 Academic Session Announced

We wish to notify all new and returning students of Michael Okpara University of Agricultural Umudike ,(MOUAU) that the university’s administration has made adjustments to the academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The revised MOUAU academic calendar is designed to span approximately one year. All academic and non-academic activities have been meticulously scheduled within the approved timeframe, as directed by the university’s management.

The academic calendar for MOUAU is as follows:

The Senate of Michael Okpara University of Agricultural Umudike convened an emergency during which they ratified the adjusted academic calendar for the 2023/2024 academic sessions as outlined below:

Arrival and Registration

• 23 October – A new dawn as fresh students make their return to the campus.
• Monday, 23-27 October 2023 – A pivotal period set aside for the registration of incoming students.
• Sunday, 30 October 2023 – A warm welcome back for the returning (old) students as they converge on campus.

Orientation and Commencement of Lectures

• Thursday, 26 to Friday, 27 October 2023 – An Orientation Programme  for fresh students, aiming to acquaint .
• Monday, 31 October 2023 – A landmark day as lectures kick off for both newcomers and returning students

Additional Registration Procedures

• Monday, 6 November to Friday, 10 November 2023 –  Add/Drop Registration processes.

Important Events

• 8 December 2023 –  welcoming fresh students into the MOUAU community.
• Friday, 12 January 2024 –  Marking the end of lectures for the semester.

Examination Period

• Monday, 22 January to Friday, 9 February 2024.
