More students want to come to EKSU - V.C.

The Ekiti State University(EKSU) has in recent times received more patronage from applicants who seek admission from various parts of the country.

This observation was made by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patrick Oladipo Aina during the matriculation of 2012/2013 regular degree students of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education Oyo in Affiliation with EKSU. Represented by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Development, Professor (Mrs) E. Y. Aderibigbe, The Vice-Chancellor revealed that the secret of the University’s success was its strong desire to always maintain high academic standards and moral probity.

He, therefore, urged the new students to fit into the academic community and abide with the provisions of the oath they have sworn to.

The Students were advised to avoid any activity that could bring their names and that of the University into disrepute. In his address, the Stand-In-Provost of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education, Oyo congratulatedthe students and warned them to desist from all sorts of social vices like cultism, examination malpractices, drug abuse and others.

The students later took the matriculation oath administered by the Registrar of EKSU, Dr.Omojola Awosusi represented by Mr T. O. Fagbemiro, the Director of Academic Affairs in EKSU.
