Admission Requirements
Basic Admission Requirements
To be considered for admission to a bachelor’s programme at Miva Open University, you need:
- A copy of your O’Level result with at least five credits in relevant subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings.
- Submission of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) results is not mandatory at this stage. However, upon admission, all results will be verified for authenticity and compliance with stated criteria, including JAMB Regularisation.
Direct Entry Requirements
For Direct Entry, you must have one of the following qualifications in addition to the O’Level requirements:
- Passes in relevant subjects (‘A’ Level, IJMB, International Baccalaureate (IB), JUPEB)
- Diploma in relevant areas (NCE, ND, HND)
- Professional Certificates (ICAN, ICMA, CIBN, AAT, ACCA, ATS, AIB, CISN, etc)
Direct entry application on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal is not mandatory at this stage. However, all results will be verified upon admission for authenticity and compliance with stated criteria, including JAMB Regularisation.

Application Process
Step 1: Choose Your Programme
Visit the programme page to explore detailed information about each programme. If you need assistance in choosing the right programme, chat with a career advisor for guidance.
Step 2: Start Your Application
Click the Apply Now button to begin your application. You will need to upload:
- A valid email address
- Phone number
- WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB results (minimum of 5 credits in English and Mathematics)
Upon submission, you will receive an acceptance letter via email within 24 hours if eligible.
Step 3: Gain Admission
After receiving your acceptance letter, proceed to enrol in your chosen courses and make the necessary payments. For assistance, contact us on WhatsApp at +234 9132 300 000.
Step 4: Start Learning
Upload a photo of yourself to your student portal after making your payment. A learning pack, including your admission letter and orientation materials, will be sent to your provided address. Stay informed about school events and class commencements.
