Nigeria's Minister of State for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba, during an appearance on Channels Tv, appealed to bandits to stop the abduction of school children in the Northern region of the country.
The minister who expressed his delight in the recent release of three of the abducted students of Bethel Baptist High School in Kaduna State thanked the military for doing a tremendous job in tracing kidnappers and bandits.
He called on bandits and those who are privy to talk to them to leave schools alone as their activities have been disrupting school the smooth flow of educational activities.
Nwajiuba also assured parents that government would do everything possible to secure the release of other abducted students.
