Joy Ezechikamnayo an SS3 student and senior prefect of Intellectual Giants Christian Academy, Umuahia, took over the reins of affairs in Abia State for 24 hours on Monday December 11th. Joy emerged the state one-day governor after a rigorous essay competition organized by the state government.
The 20 top performers in the essay competition were designated as follows:
1st position-Governor
2nd position - Deputy Governor
3rd position - SSG
17 others are Commissioners
she begun discharging her duties yesterday as she inspected the ongoing reconstruction of Aba Road In Umuahia. she was conducted round with her team by the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Works.
