‘Mathematics is the Key to Solving Social Problems’:
A non-governmental organisation, Our Generation Foundation, has urged pupils to be more committed to studying Mathematics, saying it is the key to solving social problems.
The foundation’s Executive Director, Mrs. Gbonjubola Odumusi, made the appeal during a Mathematics competition organised for Junior Secondary School pupils in Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
According to her, Mathematics is an interesting subject that any pupil who wants to attain greater heights in life will not treat with levity.
Odumusi, who urged pupils to take the learning of the subject seriously, promised that the foundation would continue to support and expose schoolchildren to love Mathematics.
