The Director of Educational Development, Kaplan International Colleges, Mr. Claire Rawlins, says the institution is interested in Nigerian pupils because of their exceptional talents.
The college, he said, would expand its frontiers in Nigeria.
He stated this during the inauguration of the US pathway programme in Lagos, a statement obtained by our correspondent on Monday said.
Rawlins said, “We are inspired by the Nigerian Government’s progressive use of education as a tool for development. Such programmes have proved successful in many other countries and we are proud to contribute to this initiative. “
Also, Kaplan is thrilled with the high quality of exceptionally bright and talented pupils, who have won scholarships in the school.

The pathway is a preparation programme for Nigerian high school pupils seeking to pursue their university education in the US.
The initiative has a consortium of North American universities, Nigerian government and Kaplan as partners.Our correspondent gathered that no fewer than 180 Nigerian students are currently studying in the college courtesy of the Ministry of the Niger Delta Affairs.
