The University Management has approved a process for FINAL WINDING DOWN of the LASU External System (LASUES).
Please note that the LASUES is a separate entity and NOT the same as LASU PART-TIME STUDY.
Accordingly, all students of the LASUES who are yet to graduate as of the time of this publication are enjoined to take the following steps to enable them to partake in the examination for their OUTSTANDING COURSES.
A. Identification of outstanding courses
i. Visit LASU Students' Result portal: https://es.lidc.lasu.edu.ng
ii. Enter your matriculation number to view your academic profile and identify your outstanding courses.
NOTE: The portal will be available on Monday, 10th June 2024
B. Enrolment for the examination and payment
i. Visit the LASU website https://www.lasu.edu.ng. On the Student section, click on LASUES MopUp Exam.
ii. Enter your matriculation number, then click the submit button. On the Outstanding Course Enrolment, select the outstanding courses to enrol for and proceed.
iii. Once the enrolment has been finalised, students will be redirected to make payment for the required fee, which is the cost of the examination for the outstanding courses, to access the main examination portal.
C. Examination
On the success of B, students will be required to LOGIN to the examination portal with the matriculation number used for the payment to initiate the examination.
NOTE:
● A one-time payment is required for the examinations (outstanding courses) and a retake fee if any outstanding course is failed and needs to be retaken.
● The examination period shall be between Monday, 10th June 2024, and Wednesday, July 10th 2024 (No extension).
Students graduating from the above process shall immediately be recommended for Senate approval by the Vice Chancellor's committee on the LASUES makeup examinations.
