Indigenes of Ikono and Ini Local Government Areas and the general public are hereby notified of the commencement of the MACAIRE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME for indigene students in secondary and tertiary institutions. The Scholarship is highly competitive and so only outstanding applicants will receive the 200 available Scholarships.
ELIGIBILITY
interested applicants must be indigenes of Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency (from Ikono or Ini Local Government Areas), studying or newly admitted into any recognized public secondary and tertiary institution within Nigeria. Eligible applicants will be invited for further assessment during an Aptitude Test. The final selection will be based on performance here.
REQUIREMENTS
For Undergraduate Scholarship
Applicants for this category are expected to be AN UNDERGRADUATE or A FRESHER in a public University in Nigeria and so shall be expected to provide ALL of the following:
- Certificate of origin
- Birth Certificate
- Passport Photograph
- UTME/JAMB Result slip
- Admission Letter
For Secondary Scholarship
Applicants for this category are expected to be A STUDENT enrolled in a public Secondary School in Nigeria and so shall be expected to provide ALL of the following:
- Birth Certificate
- Certificate of origin
- Passport Photograph
- Immediate past-term’s result

Applications can be made EITHER online OR on-site.
The on-site application can be made by obtaining the application form at the Ikono-Ini Federal Constituency Office, Noble House Oduk, Ikono LGA, Akwa Ibom State.
