Landmark University which is barely four years old was established under the auspices of the Living Faith Church Commission Worldwide headed by Bishop David Oyedepo in March 2011. The University opened its gates for Undergraduate academic operations on the 21st of March 2011 with three colleges; Agricultural sciences; Science and Engineering; and Business and Social Sciences. The University is driven by a Vision and a Mission to eliminate hunger and food insecurity in the Continent of Africa. In the words of the Chancellor Dr. David Oyedepo, “Landmark University has come to rewrite this history, especially in terms of feeding the nation and eliminating hunger because we believe hunger and poverty are the greatest problems of the African Continent”

The Institution has in its short years of existence released two sets of graduates who are christened “Pathfinders.”
