School of Nursing, University of Calabar Teaching Hospital is a Federal school of Nursing offering all basic and post basic nursing programmes. Admission into SON UCTH is via JAMB. The admission form is obtainable from the SON UCTH portal.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Admission into the school is by entrance examination: Written and Interview. Male and female are eligible to take the entrance examination, which is organized by the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital.
- Candidates must have had full Secondary School Education and possess Senior Secondary Certificate or its equivalent with five (5) ‘credits’ at no more than two sittings. These credits must be in the following subject: Mathematics, English language, Biology or Health Science and any other two subjects.

Please note that the various schools of Nursing in Nigeria have the power to fix their school fees for both fresh and returning students, nevertheless, the NMC still has the influence of placing a ceiling in order to prevent exorbitant fees by the schools of Nursing.
