The University of Africa, located in the Oil rich city of state of Bayelsa. UAT, a state university with a focus on modernizing a new way of providing and managing higher education. Its commitment to internationalisation is amply reflected in its curricular structure, partnerships with carefully selected institutions in other parts of the world. The University of Africa run various administrative and science related courses.
There are 22 courses offered in UAT which spans through the faculties of management and social sciences, Arts and Education, Science and Agriculture. Please note that they are currently accredited by the NUC (Nigerian University Commission) therefore candidates or prospective students are sure of the information gathered. In this post, I will not only give provide you with the list of courses available at UAT but also, the admission requirements for prospective candidates or students as the case may be.
On the norm, when selecting a course of study, it is usually advised prospective students or applicants go through some of the requirements required to be eligible to study the course in question, see below basic requirements;
UAT ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
a) Candidates applying into 100 level Undergraduate programme of UAT must possess a minimum of Five (5) ‘O’ Level Credit passes at not more than two sittings in SSCE, GCE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent.
b) Candidates must have the minimum UTME score of the university to be eligible to apply for admission.
Upon meeting these requirements as stated above, candidates becomes automatically eligible for admission into UAT and their internal screening exercise within the school environment.
So with the above information, prospective candidates should be clear as regards the requirements for the list of courses offered in UAT, Bayelsa state.
