Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, formerly known as Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta was founded in January 1979. Academic activities in MAPOLY started with a total student population of two hundred and twenty (220) students, 29 academic staff and 5 senior administrative officers now there are over 24 courses offered in MAPOLY, five (5) schools and an estimated number of over twenty-thousand (20,000) student population in the under-listed schools as seen below:

As for MAPOLY courses, we arranged them according to the school and programmes, that is, all courses under school of environmental studies for ND and HND that are available under full time or part time are categorized together, all courses under School of Communication & Information Technology for ND and HND that are available under full time or part time are also categorized together. This is to make it easier for readers to comprehend which of the courses are available under full time or part time or ND and HND.
MAPOLY (Moshood Abiola Polytechnic) has done very well in its academic field which is why it is ranked among the top 10 polytechnics in Nigeria.

Kindly be informed that after successfully completing of any of the academic programmes studied at MAPOLY (Moshood Abiola Polytechnic), a certificate in ND or HND in your respective programmes is awarded to successful students as approved by the rector of the polytechnic.

MAPOLY Admission Requirements
a) Age Requirement: First and foremost, candidates with intention to study in MAPOLY (Moshood Abiola Polytechnic) must be at least 16 years of age in the year of admission
b) Basic Entry Requirements: Admission into MAPOLY (Moshood Abiola Polytechnic) requires that a candidate possesses a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects which must include English Language and mathematics at GCE O’Level, WASCE, SSCE, NECO or approved equivalents at not more than two (2) sittings in order to be qualified to study at the institution.
c) JAMB Cut Off Mark Requirement: To successfully gain admission into Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, you must score up to the minimum JAMB cut off mark of 120 to stand a chance of partaking in their post UTME screening exercise.
Upon meeting the above requirements, candidates becomes automatically eligible for admission into Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and their internal screening exercise.
