As usual, we have thought it necessary to publish the list of approved courses offered in UNIUYO Pre-degree/BASICS programme.
UNIUYO is located in Uyo town, Akwa Ibom state, the South South region of Nigeria.
Talking about UNIUYO Predegree courses cannot be overemphasized as this gives aspiring candidates with interest in furthering their education at the institution the ample opportunity to gain admission via DE (Direct Entry) into UNIUYO upon completion of the programme.
Candidates who wish to apply for any of the approved courses offered in UNIUYO predegree and Basic programme must score a minimum of 180 and above to be eligible to apply, and if you do not know how to go about the registration, see the step by step procedure on how to register for JAMB.
The courses offered at UNIUYO predegree and Basic programme as seen below are the approved courses offered that are currently offered as approved by the management of the university of Uyo as it is an internally run programme
Usually, upon choosing a course of study at UNIUYO Pre-degree and Basic programme it is usually advised prospective students or applicants go through some of the requirements required to be eligible to study the course in question, see below basic requirements to study any of the courses offered at the institution
a) First and foremost, candidates with intention to study at UNIUYO predegree and Basic programme, must score a minimum of 180 in JAMB and be at least 16 years of age in the year of admission
b) As for entry requirements into Ken Saro Wiwa poly, candidates must possess at least five (5) credits in all relevant subjects which must include Mathematics, English language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in not more than 2 sittings, combination of WAEC and NECO is accepted. Please note that for candidates without Biology, Agricultural science is accepted in place of Biology.
d) Candidates that meet the above requirements, candidates becomes automatically eligible for admission into UNIUYO Pre-degree and Basic programme
