When candidates know about a particular course being offered in an institution, they naturally have the mindset that the course or courses in question stays accredited without end, but the plain truth is that no course or department stay accredited without maintaining the requirements that gave it the initial accreditation status.
The above is to intimate both students and readers that courses offered in any higher institution from time to time go through accreditation test and should they fail to pass it, the course becomes dis-accredited by the NUC as in the case of a university.
