LAUTECH announces two Deputy VCs, appoints a substantive Bursar

Two Professors of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria, have been announced as Deputy Vice-Chancellors for the Institution.

They are immediate past Chairman of the Committee of Provosts and Deans of the Institution, Professor Adepoju Tunde Joseph Ogunkunle (Strategy and Development), and Professor Dauda Olurotimi Araromi (Academics and Innovations).

The duo were announced after a Senate meeting held earlier today at the A. M. Salau Senate Building of the University Main Campus in Ogbomoso. It is the first time LAUTECH will be having more than one Deputy Vice-Chancellor at a time.

Close watchers of events at the University are of the opinion that the gale of new appointments in LAUTECH are meant to strengthen the Vice-Chancellor's resolve to bring about new and determined development at the leading University.

Similarly,  Mr.Kehinde Olusegun Olatokun, FCA  has been appointed as the new substantive Bursar of the University.

Mr.Olatokun's appointment was approved by the Governing Council at its meeting held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. The appointment,which takes effect Wednesday, August 14, 2024, is for a single term of five years.

Mr.Olatokun is an Alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU),Ile-Ife, B. Sc. Accounting (1993) and Master of Business Administration (2000).

He is a seasoned professional having carved a niche as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI), among others.
