Ladoke Akintola University of Technology has announced the 16th convocation ceremony and degree award for for its graduands. The management also wishes to inform all graduands of the 16th convocation that payment of charges are to be made through the Remita platform.
The 16th Convocation Ceremony of LAUTECH is more than simply a formal ceremony; it demonstrates the students’ endurance, hard work, and persistence. It also symbolizes the university’s continued dedication to excellence in teaching, research, and community involvement.

SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS:
Affected graduating students are to note the following schedule of payments:
- First degree – N10,000
- Master/Postgraduate Diplomas – N12,000
- PhD – N17,000
- Student copy of transcript – N7,000:00
Graduands are to note that hired academic gowns must be returned on or before Tuesday, April 30, 2024, to their respective Faculty Officers/College Secretaries, from whom they collected them, failing which defaulters will pay a fine of One thousand Naira (N1,000.00) each daily until the gown is returned.
NOTICE TO GRADUATING STUDENTS:
- It is mandatory for all graduating First Degree and Postgraduate students to participate in the academic procession formally dressed in approved academic gowns
- Graduating students are also expected to pay all stipulated fees, including
- Order of proceedings, containing the names of all graduating students.
- Graduating students are to pay prescribed fee for the gowns.
- All students must be at the robing venue, at the designated place by 9:00am.
- Procession for graduating students on each day starts at 9:00am Graduating students who are not fully dressed in academic gowns will not be allowed to process.
- Graduating students will not be allowed to join the procession midway.
- During the Ceremony, graduating students will NOT be allowed in and out of the venue at will.
