Following the incessant leadership crisis that has bedeviled the Lagos State University, Ojo, the state House of Assembly has amended the institution’s law by making the tenure of the school’s Vice Chancellor to be a single term of five years.
According to the Chairman, House Committee on Education, Hon. Lanre Ogunyemi this amendment is to help curb the incessant leadership crisis in the university.
The amendment also proposes that the Pro-Chancellor and chairman of the Governing Council shall be appointed by the Visitor to the university at his discretion.
