The National Executive Council (NEC) of the senior staff association of universities (SSANU) has declared support for the month strike action embarked by the LASU chapter of the Union.
While speaking to newsmen on Monday, SSANU LASU chairman, Mr Oseni Saheed, remarked, “The NEC meeting held in Enugu endorsed our strike. They have directed that we continue with the strike until the council and university management do the needful.’’
The Union has resolved not to back down on the strike action until the management and the Governing Council meet their demands.
