LASU Registration Procedures and Documents Required for 2012/2013

The Lagos State University(LASU), Ojo Lagos,
commenced her course registration activities on Wednesday, the 17th of October, 2012 for the 2012/2013 academic session.

2.0 PROCEDURE FOR COURSE REGISTRATION
All students should note that Registration of Courses commence on resumption for each semester. Students are therefore expected to register twice in a session i.e. at the beginning of each semester.

2.1 Students are advised to avail themselves of facilities at the Zenith ICT Centre at the Ojo Campus for registration at No cost (FREE OF CHARGE).

2.3 After clearance, proceed to the designated banks for payment after which you now proceed to your HOD to collect your registration PIN CODE with the following:
i. Original and photocopy of payment teller.
Ii. Letter of undertaking to be of good conduct which must be obtained from any of the following:
i. A senior civil / public servant
ii. A clergy
iii. A royal father
iv. Chief Executive of a known reputable organisation

iii. Sworn affidavit to be of good behaviour. All duly registered students should download and reproduce four (4) copies of the Course Registration Forms for distribution as follow:

A) Head of Department's copy
B. Dean's copy
C. Faculty Officer's copy
D. Student's copy

2.4 Students are allowed a maximum of seven (7) weeks for registration and an additional two (2) weeks for late
registration.

Students should note that late registration attracts a penalty fee of two thousand, five hundred naira N2,500.00) only.

2.5 Any student that fails to register within this period ceases to be a bonafide student of the Lagos State University.

For the purpose of emphasis, Senate would not entertain any application for suspension and resumption of studies for failure to register within the time frame given.

2.6 Add and Delete of Courses: Any student wishing to Add / Delete course(s) will be allowed to do so within the first seven (7) weeks of registration for both first and
second semesters.

NOTE: Complaints relating to students academic records should be forwarded to [email protected]

STEP 2:
Proceed to your HOD to collect your Registration PIN Code (RPC) with the following:

i. Original and photocopy of payment teller.
ii. Letter of undertaking to be of good
conduct which must be obtained from any
of the following:
i. A senior civil / public servant
ii. A clergy
iii. A royal father
iv. Chief Executive of a known reputable organisation

Step 3:
Proceed to University website www.lasu.edu.ng to do the following:

a. Register for first (1st ) semester courses
b. Printout the following:
I. Course Registration Form (CRF)
II. Examination Slip (ES)

Step 4:
Proceed to the Faculty Bursary with the original copy of your teller to collect your payment receipt.

Step 5:
Ensure that your forms are duly signed by the HOD then make three (3) copies of each and distribute as follows:

i. A copy in the Departmental Office
ii. A copy in the Faculty Office
iii. A copy for your Personal Records

PLEASE NOTE: Registration commencement date – Immediately after Screening Exercise All registration processes must be completed within two (2) weeks of resumption, failing which your studentship may be forfeited.

Should the Central Screening and Verification Committee find any of the information provided by you or documents submitted by you as INCORRECT your admission will be withdrawn and fees paid forfeited!

There shall be no LATE registration. Students should please take this with all seriousness.
