LASU notice to postgraduate students

The DICT has observed that many of the challenges encountered by PG students in the payment of fees and registration are due to the use of wrong application/ matriculation numbers oftentimes implemented at the Business Centres within the University.

Our observations have shown that the business centres are in the habit of mixing-up the names and matriculation numbers of applicants thereby making payment into the wrong person's profile.

While noting that this mix-up from business centres have resulted to over 75% percent of the complaints received, the DICT has taken steps to provide a direct link where PG students can verify the number required for payment at the current time.

Please note that all admitted students can pay their fees with their application numbers pending when matriculation number will be issued, usually after clearance.

Furthermore, it has also been observed that some prospective students, who are yet to be properly admitted and registered by the PGS are attempting to make payments, an exercise which often end in failure.

To this end, to confirm your application/matriculation number, click on the link below and input your Surname. https://lasu.edu.ng/pgdetailschecker/index.php

If your name is not on the portal, please visit the PGS as this means that such name has not been uploaded by the PGS as admitted.  This is a view-only application to assist the few that are confused as to their actual application number.

Note that, the application number is also on the admission letter generated when admission was given. This is an advisory service from the DICT to help the few that are concerned. Recall that payment of fees is now a condition for registration.
