A student group recognised as #Save LASU in a meeting held on Saturday to discuss the reduction of fees offer made by the Lagos State Governor Alhaji Babatunde Fashola concluded on a total reversal of the LASU fees.
According to a member of the group the Government has what it takes to make LASU a world-class institution without creating unnecessary financial burdens for both parents and students and called on the government to implement the 26% UNESCO recommendation on education if the government is real and serious with his claims.
Some members of the group who pointed out that the governor enjoyed affordable fees during his time as a student of UNIBEN should not destroy the bridge after he has crossed it.
