All candidates that are originally from Lagos state, who participated in the 2024/2025 UTME and selected LASU as their first choice of institution and scored at least 185 and above are hereby informed that the registration for indigeneship verification exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Admission exercise shall commence come Monday 19th September, 2024 until Friday, 14th October, 2024. The verification interview will start on Monday, 26th September, 2024.
Please be informed that the indigeneship verification exercise does not in any way guarantee or serve as a proof of admission into the Lagos State University.
The portal will be open from Monday the 19th of September, 2024 and close Friday 14th October, 2024.
Schedule of Screening Exercise
First phase, Monday 26th – Thursday, 29th September, 2024.
Second phase, Monday 3rd – Thursday 6th October, 2024.
Third phase, Monday 10th – Thursday 13th October, 2024
Forth phase, Monday 17th – Thursday 20th October, 2024
Mop up, Monday, 24th – Thursday, 27th October, 2024.
How To Apply for LASU Indigeneship Verification Exercise
Candidates are to make payment to Lagos State University Account online through lasu.edu.ng/iive
STEP 1 – Enter your JAMB Registration Number and other required details to proceed. Candidates for Revalidation need not apply again.
STEP 3 – Make Payment
To Make Payment online: ensure you supply Valid JAMB registration number and select the payment description: INDIGENESHIP VERIFICATION FEES
STEP 3 – Print Application Form
After successfully application and payment, supply your JAMB Registration Number to view and your print application form.
IMPORTANT INFO
- Kindly be informed that only candidates who are indigenes of Lagos state are eligible for screening.
- Candidates in this category are expected to be cleared by the Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (IIVC) before being considered for admission.
- Old applicants for 2023/2024 and 2023/2024 academic session that have not been offered admission will only revalidate their Indigeneship Clearance Certificates (ICC) online @ lasu.edu.ng
- All Direct Entry (DE) applicants who are of Lagos state origin are to participate in this indigeneship verification exercise before they can be considered for admission.
