Over the weekend, a disturbing video of some schoolgirls smoking shisha in an enclosed room surfaced online and this generated a lot of backlash from social media users.
The schoolgirls have been identified as students of Oreyo Senior Grammar School, Igbogbo, Ikorodu area of the state.
The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Education, Tokunbo Wahab, said appropriate steps are being taken to address the issue with the aim of preventing future occurrences in the state.
He added that the state government has ordered their rehabilitation with immediate effect.
