Lagos State commences sales of admission form into model schools

The Lagos State Examinations Board has notified the general public about the commencement of the sale of forms for admission into the 16 State Model Colleges and Upgraded Junior Secondary Schools for the Year 2021/2022 academic session.

A statement signed by the Director of the Exams Board, Mr. Supo Gbadegesin informed that payment for the form commenced from Monday, 19th April, 2021 and will end on Monday, 31st May, 2021, stating that this year’s screening test would be ONLY Computer-Based Testing (CBT).

The Director said that qualified candidates in both Private and Public schools are to pay N10,000 per head for the registration PIN, which will be issued by the Board to enable applicants log in and upload their bio-data on the portal.

While clarifying that the screening test is the only yardstick for admission into JSS1 in any of the State Model Colleges, he disclosed that only Primary Six pupils, who must have attained the ages of 10 and 11 years by June 2021, in both public and private schools are eligible for the test.

Gbadegesin, therefore, advised eligible candidates to proceed to the Accounts Department, Lagos State Examinations Board with payment details.

“A copy of the bank teller showing payment should be returned to Accounts Department of the Board for validation of payment and issuance of an official receipt”. Gbadegesin said.
