KWASU Post-UTME 2013/2014 Application Begins - Procedures, Dates, Special Advice

This is to invite all UTME/DE candidates who made Kwara State University, Malete their first and/or second choice institution in the 2013 UTME, with five (5) O’ Level credits in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings, to the Post-UTME Screening Test for 2013/2014 admission exercise scheduled to hold as follows:

Exam Dates: Wednesday 26th June – Saturday 29th June, 2013.
Venue: University Auditorium, Malete
Time: Examination time will be sent to candidates’ Mobile Phones and Email Addresses.

REGISTRATION FEES: Applicants are required to pay the sum of One Thousand Naira (₦1,000.00) only as Post-UTME fee. This is exclusive of Five Hundred Naira (₦500.00) only for bank and other administrative charges.

ONLINE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS


Please register only using a computer system. Do not attempt to use your mobile phone to register for the post-UTME.

Important Notice - Read All


We observed that some students have experienced difficulty in making payments with their cards on the official school portal. Please note the following in order to effect successful payment transaction:

1. Only Interswitch Verve and Master Cards are currently accepted for payment on this portal, so ensure that your card is either of the 2 mentioned above.

2 . Make sure that your card has been activated for Internet Transaction. If you are not sure about this, please contact the bank that issued your card to confirm.

3. Make sure you have sufficient balance to cover the amount you wish to pay on your card before attempting payment.

4. Ensure you enter your card details correctly (Card Number, PIN etc)

5. If you have made payment and your card has been debited, but your payment transaction has not reflected on the portal, click "Re-Query" in your Payment Records section of the site.

6. If you have further complains, please send your transactions details in your email to support.

SPECIAL NOTE: With the consent or guidance of your parent, you can use your parent's debit card to make the payment, if you don't have a personal card. Better still you can now open your own bank account.

Registration Proper


Once your ATM card has fulfilled the above conditions, the follow the instructions below to fill your details.
► Visit the payment/registration portal online – payments.kwasu.edu.ng/PostUTMEApplication.aspx

► On the application form field select POST UTME on the drop down, select course of study and click on “Proceed”

► Complete the form and upload scanned copy of your passport photograph

► Click on “Preview” and proceed to payment

► Select your card type by checking on the appropriate button– MasterCard, Inter-switch or Visa card

► Click on ‘Make Payment ’

► Write down the transaction reference number for your record purpose

► Click on ‘Proceed to Payment’

►Pop up will be displayed for Webpay. Select your appropriate card type again, enter your card number, expiring date, and security number(this is the last 3 digit on the back of your card) select your card pin number(usually your ATM Pin)

►Click on ‘Pay’

►After Processing, it will display progress. Click on ‘Continue’ to finalize your payment.

►In case you want to verify payment, go to the main page and click on verify payment, enter your reference number and verify your payment status.

In addition to all the requirements stated above, all applicants must know that final admission into the University is based on meeting the University’s and the Academic Programme’s cut off points in both JAMB and POST-JAMB examinations when they are set and also on the availability of spaces within the NUC approved admission quota for KWASU.

SchoolGist hereby advices for now that only candidates with 180 and above should apply for the Post-UTME exam until JAMB releases the official cut-off on 18th June.
