The management of the Kwara State University, (KWASU) has approved the dismissal of one of its lecturers over allegations of sexual harassment. This was announced by the school vice-chancellor, Mustapha Akanbi, on Monday, December 6, during a news conference.
The dismissed lecturer identified as Pelumi Adewale was accused of sexually harassing one Tosin Adegunsoye, a student of the Department of Pure and Applied Sciences of the school.
Prof Akanbi said that Adewale had ceased to be a staff the school for bringing shame to the institution and the appropriate security agency has taken up the case and it is in court already.
