Kewulere Abdulafeez Babatunde of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has emerged President of the Student Union of Kwara State University in an election that took place on Saturday, August 31, 2024.
The report of the Students Electiral Committee, which was signed by the Chairman, Toheeb Olamide Kolawole, and the Secretary Adegbola Abel, Ayomide, stated that Kewulere scored 3848 votes out of the 4632 votes cast.
Ireoluwa Oluwaseun Ogungboye emerged as the Vice President while Hameedat Oluwatimileyin Akanni was elected as the General Secretary, and Abdulquadri Abdulganiyu Babatunde emerged as the Treasurer.
Other elected executive officers are Bamidele Boluwatife Joseph, Financial Secretary;
Akinmboni Marcus Olamide, Social Director; Ezekiel Adeiza Aliyu, Public Relations Officer; and;
Khadijat Omobolanle Adeleke, Welfare Director.
Others are Ayodele Joshua Adedoyin, Auditor; Adeyiola Adam Babatunde, Sport Director; Nurudeen Teslimat Abiola, Assistant General Secretary; Benita Ifunaya Frank, Social Director 2; and, Adegoke Uthman Adedapo as the Welfare Director 2.
