The Executive Chairman of the Commission, Mallam Bello Tauheed Abubakar, said that the dates for the promotion examinations and interviews followed the approval of the conduct of the promotion exercise by the State governor, Mallam AbdulRazzaq AbdulRazaq.
According to a statement by the Commission’s Press Secretary, Jide Abolarin, officers on Grade Level 07 to 10 will have their examinations on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Anthony Secondary School in Ilorin, while officers on Grade 14 to 17 will have their examinations at C&S College in Ilorin on the same date and at the same time.
The notification further states that officers on GL07-10 and GL14-16 in schools located in the Kwara South and Kwara North Senatorial Districts will have their promotion interview on Saturday, June 18, 2022 between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the headquarters of the State Teaching Service Commission.
In addition, on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the Teaching Service Commission’s headquarters in Ilorin, officers from Kwara Central Senatorial District schools with Grades 7 through 10 and Grades 14 to 16 would be interviewed.

According to the announcement, officers advancing from Grade level 10 to 12 will take their exams at St Barnabas Secondary School in Ilorin, while those progressing from Grade level 12 to 13 will do so at St Anthony Secondary School in Ilorin. Officers advancing from Grade Level 13 to 14 will take their exams at C&S Secondary School, Ilorin, on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Interviews for the officers on GL 10-14 at schools located in the Kwara South and Kwara North Senatorial Districts will take place on the same day at the Teaching Service Commission headquarters between noon and five o’clock. Officers in grades 10 to 14 from Kwara Central schools will be interviewed at the same location on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
The promotion interview for officers advancing from Grade Level 16 to 17 is scheduled to take place at the Conference Center between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. daily from June 27 to July 2, 2022
All applicants were instructed to provide the following documents: Staff Identification Card, First Letter of Appointment, Letter of Confirmation of Appointment, Last Promotion Letter, Approval of Conversion/Advancement (where applicable), and Approval of Change of Cadre (if any).
Additionally, candidates must bring up an Approval of Name Change form (if any),
Credentials (Educational Qualifications/Certificates), Citizenship Certificate, Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age, and Interview Form
As tardiness to the examination sites will not be tolerated, candidates must be seated an hour before the start of the examinations.
