Kwara govt warns teachers against indecent dressing

Following the ongoing recruitment exercise of teachers into the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), the chairman of the commission, Malam Abubakar Bello, on Tuesday, March 30, issued a statement warning teachers in the state against indecent dressing.

The statement signed by the commission’s Press Secretary, Mr. Peter Amogbonjaye, advised teachers to desist from dressing in a way that is capable of demoralizing the public, adding that decent dressing was necessary as teachers were seen as role models in society.

Bello further advised the teachers to adhere strictly to the Civil Service dress code as they were character molders who should always show good examples to the students.

He also solicited their support and cooperation in order to ensure the success of the present administration’s plan to boost the education sector.
