About Kvaroy Arctic
What today is called Kvarøy Arctic was founded in 1976 by Alf Olsen, a fish farming pioneer in northern Norway, and his son Geir. In 2008, ownership was passed along to Gjermund and Håvard, Geir’s sons, and Alf-Gøran Knutsen, Geir’s son-in-law. Requirements for Women in Aquaculture Postgraduate Scholarship Program Qualification
? be a woman (cis-gendered or trans) ? be a passport holder and permanent resident of an African country to apply for the Africa-specific scholarship ? be a passport holder of a country to apply for the global scholarship ? be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program studying an aquaculture-related discipline as your main area of study ? display proficiency in the English language ? be able to travel to the Kvaroy Arctic farm beginning in the summer of 2023
