KSU Lecturer confesses to Being a Member of the Boko Haram sect

It was learnt that a lecturer of the Kogi State University, Dr. Muhammed Yunus who was arrested some time ago by the state security service in connection with terrorism has confessed to being a member of the dreaded sect Boko Haram.

Dr. Muhammed Yunus, confessed that he and others accused were planning a Jihad in Igala area of Kogi State before they were arrested.

They were also said to be in possession of possession of two AK47 rifles and financing terrorism. As well as attending a meeting convened by the Boko Haram in Ayungba, Kogi State and recruited people for training as members of the sect.

The court case has been adjourned till June 24.
