Just like Queens College, King’s College Lagos tuition fees for new students into Junior Secondary School 1 (JSS1) and Senior Secondary school one (SS1) is also free FREE, though there are other fees and charges that are required by parents and Guardians to pay upon their Ward’s admission into the school.

King’s College Lagos falls under the category of UNITY Schools since it is a federal government college, and managed by the Federal Ministry of Education. It would be worthy to note that all Federal Govt Colleges are classified under the term unity schools so if you are familiar with post primary school education (secondary schools in Lagos) you should be familiar with King’s College Yaba Lagos.

Please note that the newly admitted students, that is, JSS 1, their fees are generally more than students in Junior Secondary School 2 (JSS 2) reason being that they would be required to pay additional fees for the following underlined items:

Parents and Guardians are to take note of the following requirements for Admission Into KC (King’s College Lagos):

A) First and foremost, Candidates must be at least 11 Years of age and maximum of 17 years for him to be eligible for admission into King’s College

B) Candidates must pass the common entrance examination

C) Also, candidates would be required to write an Essay on why he chooses to apply for admission into King’s College Lagos (KC) and are further shortlisted by merit into the school by the Federal ministry of Education.

How To Pay Kings College Lagos School Fees

Step 1: To pay King’s College School Fees you are to visit this link www.education.gov.ng

Step 2: Upon visiting the website as seen in ‘Step 1’, you are to click on ‘Federal Unity Colleges’

Step 3: This step requires that you search for your school. For this sake of this post, you will search for ‘Kings College’ under the list of Federal Unity Schools as stated in ‘Step 2’ and click the link.

Step 4: It is assumed you already have a username and password. Login to King’s College’s portal using your username and password.

Step 5: Upon completing Steps 1 to 4, here is the point that requires the actual payment of your selected school’s fee. So you are to ‘Select Payment/Bills’

Step 6: After selecting ‘Select Payment/Bills’ as instructed in ‘Step 5’, you are to generate student Unique RRR code. Click the button and move on to ‘Step 7’

Step 7:  Upon completing ‘Steps 1 to 6’ you can then proceed to paying of Kings College tuition fee online after which you are to proceed to Any bank in Nigeria with generated RRR code or number.

Step 8: Upon returning from the bank, you are to login to your portal and print out a hard-copy of your school fees payment receipt.

Lastly: This receipt (Proof of Payment) is to be photocopied, then Proceed to the bursary dept. with the original copy of the printed receipt which will be documented and will serve as your proof of payment.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The federal government through the ministry of Education approved sixty-five thousand Naira (N65,000) as school fees for Senior Secondary School 1 (SSS1) students, these are the category of students moving from a lower (JSS) to Higher secondary level (SSS).
