This is to inform the general public that the Kano State government has approved the release of the 2021/2022 calendar for primary and post primary schools within the state.
The breakdown of the calendar has been expressed in the below attachment
NOTATIONS!
a) Public holidays that fall during holiday are
i. Eid-Fitr 2nd May 2022 to be observed during 2nd term holiday of 2021/2022 Academic session
ii. Christmas and Boxing days 25th and 26th December 2021
iii. New year day 1st January 2022 to be observed during 1st term holiday of 2021/2022 academic session.
Iv. Good Friday and Easter Monday. Friday 15th and Monday 18th April, 2022 to be observed during 2nd term holiday of 2021/2022 academic session
v. Workers day 1st May 2022 to be observed during 2nd Term holiday of 2021/2022 Academic session
b) Public Holidays that fall while schools are in session
i. Democracy day June 12th 2022 to be observed during 3rd term while schools are in session.
ii. Eid-Kabir to be observed 10th July 2022 while schools are in session.
