The Kano State Executive Council, on Monday, endorsed the establishment of a Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Computer-Based testing centres in the five Emirate Councils, as zonal offices of the 44 Local Government Areas of the state.
This was disclosed by the State Commissioner for Information, Mallam Mohammad Garba, in a press statement, containing resolutions and outcome of the Council’s weekly meeting, held at the Kano Government House.
According to him, the need for the increase in the number of CBTC centres was inspired by the increasing demand, as well as to prevent a situation, whereby candidates have to be sent to neighbouring states to sit for UTME.
