Members of the College Community may wish to recall that TETFund sometime requested for Staff and Students blo data with ernails to be part of the beneficiaries of the educational resources made available by the Fund for staff and students in tertiary institutions.
Further to the, above, Information from TETFund indicates that most members of staff and students of the College are yet to verify their BIMS accounts (Academic Staff -95, Non-Academic Staff 16 and Students-61). It is only verified accounts of staff and students that can access the educational resources such as blackboard, EBCOHost, CLAP, Eagle scan etc.
Consequently, Members of staff and students are to note that their BIMS Account verification is a second layer of security which confirms that on boarded users have access to their mall to receive updates.
To verity your account, note the pop up message in your dashboard that reads:
i. Please ensure you verify your email address. Click here to receive an email verification link.
ii. Click on the words 'click here' and a verification email is sent to your mail.
iii. Ensure you check your inbox/spam/junk folder for this
iv. Click on the verify email address tab.
V. This message pop up- well done (showing your first name), you have successfully verified your email. Go to your profile
vi. Login and update your profile.
