Eid-El-Kabir: KADPOLY Extends Break for Students & Staff

Kaduna Polytechnic, fondly known as KADPOLY, has announced a string of public holidays for its staff and students. In line with the Federal Government’s declaration, Wednesday, 28th, and Thursday, 29th June 2023 will be public holidays to commemorate this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebration. The Polytechnic Management has gone a step further by declaring Friday, 30th June 2023, as a work-free day, allowing for a full five-day weekend.

Federal Government Declares Two Days of Public Holiday

As per tradition, the Federal Government has declared Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th June 2023 as public holidays across the nation. The decision is in recognition of the forthcoming Eid-El-Kabir celebration, a significant Muslim festival celebrated worldwide.

KADPOLY Extends the Celebration

In an act of unity and consideration for its diverse body of staff and students, KADPOLY Management has approved an additional day off on Friday, 30th June 2023. This move is in line with the institution’s tradition of extending public holidays in alignment with major celebrations, thereby fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect for all traditions and beliefs represented on the campus.

Normal Work Resumes on Monday, 3rd July 2023

Following the extended weekend, normal work and academic activities will resume on Monday, 3rd July 2023. The Polytechnic Management is confident that the break will provide an opportunity for all staff and students to celebrate Eid-El-Kabir, recharge, and return refreshed for the academic and administrative responsibilities that lie ahead.
