Jupeb has announced that the 2024 examination has been postponed to start on August 19,2024 and end on August 30,2024 over fear of vehicular movement in some states due to the protest, which will make it difficult for some supervisors to travel to their destinations for supervision. On their memo that was sent to the vice chancellors and Jupeb directors of various institutions on August 2nd that stated like this:
In view of the security situation in a few states, particularly Imo and Ebonyi States, created by the nationwide protest and the extent to which the constraints on human and vehicular movement would affect the safety and security of our Supervisors who have to travel across State boundaries, we are compelled to announce a postponement on the commencement date of the 2024 JUPEB Examinations.
The Examinations will now begin on Monday, 19 August and end on Friday, 30 August 2024.
A new examination time-table reflecting the new dates will be circulated as soon as possible.
We plead that those JUPEB Foundation Schools that are located in States where the protest has not created any security challenges and which are ready to conduct the examinations as scheduled bear with us so that we can conduct the examinations simultaneously in all our partner and affiliate universities.
