The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that it has scheduled a meeting with other examination bodies like WAEC, NECO and NABTEB in order to find the best way of scheduling the examinations so that the dates won’t clash.
This was made known by the Head, Media and Information of the board, Dr Fabian Benjamin, in a statement released yesterday.
According to him, the board is taking time to release the 2017 UTME registration forms because it does not want a repetition of what transpired last year during the registration and the conduct of the examination.
He further mentioned that the meeting with other examination bodies is one of the final steps the board is taking before it announces the registration for 2017 UTME and asked for support from Nigerians towards ensuring the board meets international standard in its activities.
With this development, the 2017 UTME Registration is expected to commence soon.
