The Federal Government has directed all State Governments to allow a free movement of people on Saturday 29th April, 2017 as to allow prospective UTME candidates to be able to move to their centres for the JAMB mock exam scheduled to hold on that same date across all the states in the country.
This is due to the fact that most States in the country usually have a state wide clean up exercise every last Saturday of every month between the hours of 7:00am and 10:00 am.
Announcing this on Friday in Lagos, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said the JAMB mock exam is being conducted ahead of the 2017 UTME to enable interested students to familiarize themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) test environment.
In view of this the Federal Government has directed all state governments to suspend the clean up exercise and allow every movement so prospective UTME candidates can proceed to their various centres come Saturday April 29th, 2017 for the scheduled JAMB Mock exam.
