JAMB Computer Based Test (CBT) Centres Ordered To Upgrade Or Lose Licences

Owners of JAMB Computer Based Test (CBT) centres have been ordered by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has to upgrade the capacity of their centres before the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or stand the risk of having their licences withdrawn.

This was contained in a document made available by JAMB.

The document specifically stated that JAMB had earlier reached an agreement with Computer Based Test (CBT) centres operators that they should maintain a set standard in terms of  capacity (which they are to increase to accommodate 250 candidates at one sitting), equipment, materials, competent human resources and security appliances including Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) systems

The document specifically mentioned that failure to meet the required standard by any  Computer Based Test (CBT) centre operator would lead to automatic disqualification of the operator and outright withdrawal of license.
